House prices have more than quadrupled in Melbourne and tripled in Sydney over the past 20 years, as the southern city outpaced the Harbour city. Many people are moving to Melbourne because of the attractive house prices and lifestyle the city offers. President of Real Estate Institute of Victoria Richard Simpson told Sky News, the Sydney median house price will always be ahead of Melbourne.
